Wes: I would like to thank Jon for all his work he does in updating the website so quickly! Thanks for all the great work Jon! Stan, that was a beautiful bag of bass you and many others had also! What an incredible fishery. The race for Mr. Bass is not over yet, anything can happen when Stan the Man is right behind me and we are going to the stink hole they call Menomin! But at least Josh cant beat me and that was my only true goal for the season, now I just have to take care of the guy who taught Josh everything he knows! I can tell you all I have never, ever, had to work this hard at trying to win a little ol club tourney. Wow, what a top notch bunch of guys we have! 9/29/2008 8:00:00 AM

9/6/2008 1:55:00 PM
Dave Pechacek: Really thats funny that I could only catch 2 northerns and they all are asking me for the info on the lake... smucks........9/7/2008 9:55:00 PM
David Pechacek: Larson stop your sand bagging In know where you caught them 4 lbers U better watch around for my boat before you bring them pigs to the boat... I will be strating there on tournament day!9/7/2008 9:56:00 PM
Larson: yeah - I never thought it would work to spray paint my Dean Rojas frogs bright pink with bedazzled blue sparkles - but there you have it - 2 four pounders in 22 feet of water!!9/8/2008 1:06:00 PM
Larson: Paycheck - you know my spots, and you better recongnize.......fool.9/8/2008 1:07:00 PM
Josh: Paycheck thats BS I fished two of the spots I saw you and Richard at and promptly caught BASS in each spot there are no secrets man.9/8/2008 1:22:00 PM
Josh: Ill see all of you out there next weekend I just picked up a guide license and will be on the water with clients all weekend for the next two weeks. Dont worry Paycheck Ill stay off most of the spots I see the stinkhole on.9/8/2008 1:25:00 PM
Brad: Maybe if everyone I knew wasnt getting married in September I could prefish a little and that way I could see David sleeping while his old man prefishes for him9/8/2008 2:57:00 PM
Ken Snow: my picks are Stan Miller, Wes Haney, David Paycheck, Ken Snow and Mike Mattis. Sorry Josh your out of this one.9/9/2008 5:32:00 AM
kecahcep: so what did you catch on sunday pechacek or what are you going to say you caught maybe just one pike that day right or you going to throw in a bullhead or two for a little flare9/10/2008 10:58:00 AM
Paycheck: Yeah and I caught a 23lb catfish on the chipp earlier this week. wow was she a fighter! I had her in the bottom of my boat and I nearly sank with all that rain water in my boat!9/10/2008 10:55:00 PM
Larson: So that is why your boat smells like death - rotting catfish. Now we get it!9/11/2008 2:40:00 PM
eweol: catfish maybe rotten mustard possibly his live well more than likely what he is bringing back from the bar most definetly priceless9/11/2008 2:48:00 PM
rellim: Hand made stink bait patties formed like Gobies and Crayfish. The secrete ingredient? Whatever is rotting in Davids livewell or cooler.9/18/2008 3:39:00 PM
Drew DickensonIron Horse Open
Iron Horse Open Saturday October 4th. Remember the Calcutta on Friday night. If you fished last year you need to call the bar and reserve your spot for 2008. The phone # is 715-778-5500. I have heard Haney will be the auctioneer this year.
9/4/2008 3:52:00 PM
stan: Drew Denny Friedrich and Stan Miller are in also Josh said him and Jake? are in too!9/9/2008 2:22:00 PM
Wes: Drew, that volunteering me for the auctioner thing I have a sneaky suspicion came from the Snowman? I can not fish the tourney on Saturday but that would be fun to be involved in the Friday night festivities! I could auctioneer the calcutta if you really want me too, that way you guys could concentrate on who your going to bid on and how much? Let me know and I will be there.9/12/2008 11:51:00 AM
Drew: Wes I will count on you. Thanks Drew9/12/2008 2:54:00 PM

Ken SnowGreat Weekend!!
Once again a great weekend I had at the V&M. You guys are a blast!! I was laughing all day thinking about the jon boat that you guys put on Supri s tent cot. Stan you are now officially the man. What a great job fishing this weekend. I really appreciate your passion for bass fishing and you and your two sons are a great addition to the club.
8/25/2008 1:38:00 PM
David Pechacek: OK a 3 way tie for second place... what is up with that some sort of error? That is just nuts... Josh Miller one of the best guys on tour and Brad McCann an up and coming, rising star. what tough competion I have among me.....8/26/2008 10:35:00 PM
David Pechacek: OO yeah and cuz of my last name... I some how end up in fourth... I hate this game.... I mean Name... I am changing my name to David Miller then aI will be in 2nd place outright. haha8/26/2008 10:37:00 PM
Jeff Sommerfield: I would like everyone to know that Dave Pechacek s new name is David Paycheck. He decided to change his name because it s easier to spell and pronounce. He also believes it should help him market his name to potential sponsors when he qualifies for the Elite Series on the Bassmaster Tournament Trail. Please let everyone know.8/27/2008 9:32:00 AM
Skeet Reese: Ive heard about this Paycheck fellow. And ive seen his ..heavy jig with a senko tied 2 feet up the line rig.. so I know he is for real. However, if he really wants to market himself, he needs to get better at giant marbles and get rid of his curly facial hair8/27/2008 9:44:00 AM
KVD: Yeah well I met this Dave Paycheck kid like 4 times... he is one in a million. I have not seen a kid with this much skill before... you all you other guys better watch out!8/27/2008 10:50:00 PM
Icanelli: I have heard of this paycheck kid and seen that he has a scraggley little beard just like me and the same crazy eyed look! But I say, can he dance and scream as loud as I can, I think not, and until he learns how, he is not going to be able to dance with the big dogs! Unless he ups his game he will always be destined to finishing behind that unbeleivably great stick Haney and I hear that even when Haney retires someday he still has a bunch of kids that will continue to dominate Mr. Paycheck! But at least he changed his damn name so that someone can pronounce and spell it, so he at least has that going for him! 8/28/2008 7:24:00 AM
Brad: Wow... you would think that Mike Iaconelli could spell his own last name 8/28/2008 8:32:00 AM
Icanelli: Oops! Ok paycheck I take that back about spelling your name, but you still need to learn how to lift your leg a little higher if your going to piss with the big dogs! Instead of squatting like McCann. 8/28/2008 1:39:00 PM
Hank Williams: hey Paycheck are you related to Johnny Paycheck??8/28/2008 5:10:00 PM
miller: Hey Paycheck you better get used to the fact your old mans spots wont hold up against all this talent. When its all said and done even if your last name had ended up Rettke youd still be outa luck. But your spots may have held up. The only way Haney can keep this lead is if he burns up a large one in gas money going to the Chip. Hopefully 3 pounders can make you a check wes otherwise you’ll see that lead shrink to nothing. There’s no way Brad David and I will all choke. But I guess whats a grand to you. The big wild card here is my dad he really could make it three in a row. I wouldn’t bet against him. I better get back on the water and stop talking trash this really is some stiff competition especially when Brits around.8/28/2008 5:46:00 PM
Wes: Way to go Josh, now I have to sit here and think about Brittney all day long and I wont get anything done. I might as well just head up to the chipp then. Your right about your Dad though, he is on a roll and could easily take the lead after this one. I have to count on You, Paycheck, Spitcann, and Stan the Man, all choking up there and I dont see that ever beign possible. I guess I am just going to have to go out and find 20 lbs this time as 17 1/2 is not going to get it done. Paycheck, stay off of my spots! 8/29/2008 7:01:00 AM
Josh: We almost didnt have to worry about david anymore if that giant marble would have been 3 inches lower. That thing could have wounded the stink hole something BAD.8/29/2008 2:04:00 PM
Miller: Thats a good one Paycheck and the stinkhole!!!!!!!!8/29/2008 2:05:00 PM
KVD: Yea Josh Ive heard about that livewell system all the way down here. You can smell that thing in Texas when he opens it up its almost as bad as his food cooler. Paycheck theres not a agent in the world that will work with you if your known as the stinky kid in class. 8/29/2008 2:10:00 PM
Todd Faircloth: Remember boys what smells bad is always the best one out there!8/31/2008 10:21:00 PM
Bob Cobb: So this is what the pros do when the season is over9/2/2008 6:03:00 AM
Josh: From the grave I thought you were dead BOB9/2/2008 5:28:00 PM
Fish Fishburne: Yeah I may have been a pro for a few years and never one anything. But hey I still love coming here and razzing the wanna bees. aka SpitCann and that Paycheck fellow.9/3/2008 11:40:00 PM
Spitcan: First off Fish...its won not one. Second its spelled wanna-be not bee like the insect. Third yes I am a wanna-be. After meeting Mrs Haney..Im a Wes wanna-be9/4/2008 6:06:00 AM
Fish Fishburne: Are you really going to argue with a professional bass fisherman! I wont if i were you but hey i know your ego is as big as ken snows confidence.9/4/2008 10:44:00 AM
Wes: And after meeting the future Mrs. Spitcan, I will gladly let you be me for a weekend at my house if I can be you! I am always here for you Bro! There, I put the post where it makes more sense.9/4/2008 12:58:00 PM
Detective: Fish Fishburne = David Paycheck9/4/2008 1:09:00 PM
Ken Snow: SpitCann Same goes for me! wanna be mr. Snowman for a day?9/7/2008 9:59:00 PM
Scott Soup-ra: Same for me!9/7/2008 10:02:00 PM
Brad: you are all a bunch of perverts but I wouldnt trade this club for the world9/8/2008 2:55:00 PM
Wes: Brad, and that is exactly why you fit in so well! 9/9/2008 9:22:00 AM

I also wanted to send some thanks to everyone for a great weekend. Especially the V and M for hosting us .. Jon Scott and Randy for getting everything organized. And finally Haney for not catching any big fish. I think everyone had a great time except for Supri whose nap was interupted by a game of giant marbles
8/25/2008 7:01:00 AM
Wes: That was a great time, thanks to everyone who helped arrange it. 8/25/2008 7:37:00 AM
BradWere comin Haney
Every tournament that lead just shrinks more and more... Are you getting nervous ... and Stan shows no sign of slowing down either
8/25/2008 5:54:00 AM
Wes: Yes, I am getting nervous. I could have shut the door this weekend but obviously instead I left it wide open! It is going to be quite a race now to the finish, especially with the two Millers right there and us going to another lake that is like their home water! I guess I better start pre-fishing today. Great job everyone this weekend, wow were there a lot of nice fish caught. 8/25/2008 7:36:00 AM

Mike MWeekend Series
Great job to Ken Snow for his 3rd place finish this past weekend on the bay of green bay, our club shines again. Honorable mention goes out to David Paycheck, apparently had 11+ pounds and did not get back in time, would have placed 1st or 2nd. Good Job to both of you and all that participated.
8/10/2008 9:01:00 PM
ken snow: Thanks Mike.... I want to also Thank my co-angler Carl Branshaw. Carl is an awesome fisherman and a great guy to fish with. Drew s co-angler was Samantha Sukupanek a hot litlle blonde that got big bass on the co-angler side. Scott Supri was first out of the money by 2 100ths of a pound. And Thanks to Tim Pretzer for lugging my boat over there!!8/11/2008 6:48:00 AM
Wes: Congratulations to everyone from the club who was there! Great showing once again. Kenny, awesome job on third place and David I am very sorry to hear that you didnt get back in time. 8/11/2008 7:44:00 AM
Brad: Nice job Snoman. I knew you had it in ya. David, how were you late?8/12/2008 10:40:00 AM
BradOpen Seat
So I havent been on Long Lake in probably 3 years and Haney wont give me any spots to try so I am going to try and go up this Sunday. If anyone wants to join me for the day and split some vehicle gas money, let me know. Ill probably leave Hudson around 430 a.m. and fish til I feel like stopping
8/4/2008 3:12:00 PM
Wes: Fish all of Ron Cubins spots! You cant go wrong with them. That is my advice. 8/5/2008 9:09:00 AM
Larson: I would go up there with ya - but Im gone this weekend. I would suggest keeping a close eye on Randy and Polzin - they got it dialed in Im sure!8/5/2008 11:36:00 AM
Stupidhead: stay by the big island8/6/2008 7:26:00 AM
: brad .. What lake are you going to on sunday.. Does anyone know what lakes we are fishing on what day yet..8/6/2008 5:42:00 PM
Brad: Gary and I are fishing Long Lake on Sunday8/7/2008 5:34:00 AM
Brad: I just wanted to let everyone know that Gary and I tore em up on Sunday. I easily had 18 pounds. It might have taken 22 fish to get it, but it was still 18 pounds.8/13/2008 7:32:00 AM
WesWho isnt going to fish Red Cedar and Long Lake?
We all need to start thinking about our fantasy picks for the tourneys this month. Can anyone that is not going to be there reply to this post so we know not to include you? Thanks!

Gary MRed Cedar Fish Fry
Would anyone be interested in a Fish Fry Friday or Saturday night? I have a lot of Halibut. If there is enough interest I could bring it along.
8/3/2008 6:47:00 AM
Larson: Count me in Gary - that sounds fresh and tasty!! Ill trade you a couple of Loewes good spots on Red Cedar for some!8/3/2008 6:05:00 PM
Wes: Gary, I love halibut if others are interested I would be in, but I know it would be a lot of work for you also so I sure dont mind giving my money to the V and M for one of their burgers. Whatever you decide is fine with me. 8/4/2008 3:01:00 PM
J.Loewe: Gary, I like your though but hang tight. Scott Polzin and I are working on a dinner for saturday night through the V and M. I will be sending out more info soon.8/6/2008 6:34:00 PM
G Myers: I could have a fish fry Friday night. I would need to know how many will be there on Friday.8/7/2008 6:02:00 AM
Wes: Gary,8/8/2008 8:59:00 AM
Wes: Gary, I wont make it up in time for supper on Friday. Saturday eating at the V and M sounds like a good idea. Lets get r done Loewe. 8/8/2008 9:00:00 AM
Kevin BRed Cedar
I just happened to find out that the Idianhead Bassers are on Red Cedar the same day of our tournament. Is this a planned event with them or do we want to consider flip flopping the Long Lake date?
7/29/2008 10:13:00 AM
: I would be in favor of switching the dates around and doing Red Cedar on Sat to avoid Indianhead. Could our President or Tournament Director please provide feedback on this. Also I tried fishing Red Cedar and didnt catch a single fish, so if someone has some GPS coordinates where I can catch a fish, could they please send them to me...Thanks8/4/2008 6:09:00 AM
Brad: sorry, that last post was me8/4/2008 6:09:00 AM
Wes: What about competing with Indianhead like we were going to do on the river? Maybe say the losing club buys the first round at the V and M after the tourney? Base it on either pounds/angler or top 15 guys total weight or something like that? In the past when we competed against another club it was a lot of fun. Anyone interested in that? 8/4/2008 3:05:00 PM
Larson: Im not 100% sure I can make the Sat. tourney yet - but I would vote for the competition against Indianhead - sounds fun. Although we would still keep track of our club individually too and determine a winner and distributing points and such??8/5/2008 12:21:00 PM
Wes: Yes, nothing changes as far as our club stuff. All we do is add up the weight of whatever is determined by the two clubs to be the decideing factor. My suggestion is the top 15 weights or Ave. weight per angler or something like that. Snowman may have a better idea as I know he has arranged these before. I know the downfall is more boats on the same lake but the competition is fun and sometimes there is a lot to be learned from some of the other clubs fisherman about some techniques that we didnt do or think about? Especially if they kick our butt, but I have to beleive we can hold our own. What do the rest of you want to do?8/6/2008 8:47:00 AM
Brad: Id be down for that It would definetly be a good match up. But as the old saying goes as long as I am on Wes Haneys team, I cant lose8/6/2008 10:11:00 AM
J.Loewe: I have been reading the messages from you guys and it sounds like we might be interesting if leaving the days they way they are. Prior to reading this I was thinking that I would switch the days so that we do not have soo many boats on Red Cedar plus we get to fish it on Saturday. Any last comments are welcome before I make the change. All comments need to be in before this Friday.8/6/2008 6:33:00 PM
Brad: Jon, thanks for being an honest and open leader who listens to our opinions. I hope when I have kids they grow up to be like you, but look like Haney8/7/2008 5:30:00 AM
stan: Jake just called and Greg Linduswho he works with said they are fishing Red Cedar on sat the 23rd and Bear Lake the 24th so they are going to be there the day before us. good luck to all and see you there Stan8/7/2008 6:11:00 AM
Wes: So are we switching them then? Long on Sat and Red Cedar on Sunday? Is that my understanding? 8/7/2008 7:51:00 AM
Wes: Brad, there is one great way to make sure your kids all look like me. What is your fiance doing for the next few weekends? Is she going to be at V and Ms with us? You know I am willing to do anything for you man! 8/7/2008 7:54:00 AM
Dave P: If Barry will be there on sunday at Red Cedar you can count me out someone else can weight the fish cuz I will just stay at home.8/9/2008 10:54:00 PM
Wes: David, Barry does not fishin the Indianhead club, he fishes in the Amery one. Dont worry he will not be anywhere near red cedar or long that weekend.8/11/2008 7:42:00 AM

WesISG Discount
Guys, I thought I would let you know that if you need any tubes, willow sticks (senkos), tube jigs, stand up jigs etc. ISG will give you a 20% discount if you order them online at www.isgfishing.com and use my name. In the comment section where it says, where did you hear about us, put WES HANEY 20% DISCOUNT. Check out there website, if you havent used their stuff before they make some great lures and jigs. I especially like there tubes and tube jigs, they are the only ones I use anymore and Gelo goes thru willow sticks like crazy, I think he eats them himself? I forgot to tell him they are only 40% salt and the rest is plastic. Good luck fishing!

JEFFCONGRATS
CONGRATULATIONS GOES OUT TO MIKE WES AND DAN FOR MAKING THE TEAM
7/21/2008 11:43:00 AM
Wes: Thank you Jeff. And also Josh Miller finished as the first alternate (13th) by just 1/100th of an ounce or we would have had 4 guys from our club on the State Team at the same time. I think 3 guys at once is awesome, 4 would have been incredible! Hopefully someone will drop out, right Josh? Great job by everyone from our club who was there this weekend! 7/21/2008 1:21:00 PM
Got 5 - never wins: Congrats guys. I think we represented well and Im sure when we see the final results we should have 8 or 9 guys in the top 25 as well. I guess there is always next year.7/22/2008 5:51:00 AM
Wes: I just seen the full results of the state tourney and I didnt even know that Dave Larson was only 0.13 lbs from making the team and Brad McCann was only out a little more than 2 pounds. Great job also guys! Our club sure had a great showing this weekend! 7/22/2008 12:11:00 PM

7/3/2008 10:58:00 PM
David Pechacek: another thing is Larson during every tournament I give 110 percent... just keep that in mind when making your picks... and I might have to pay you under the table7/3/2008 11:02:00 PM
Larson: I dont know Pechacek - with Wissota and the rivers out of our way, Im not sure about you as a top 5 pick anymore?? You think you got enough spots marked on those maps of yours for a top 5 on Long and Red Cedar?7/7/2008 7:09:00 AM
David Pechacek: Dave naw thats ok you dont have to pick me... but if you would like some help on those two lakes I can certainlly give you some advice.7/8/2008 10:53:00 AM
Wes: David, look at that, there you are right behind me again in the points standings! Damn, that has to just eat at you day after day doesnt it? Does it make it hard for you to sleep at night sitting there trying to figure out my spots? Am I in your head and driving you crazy? What are you going to do? I think you have tried everything and you dont have anything left, do you? Just think, someday soon I will be too old to haunt you anymore like this, but by then I will have taught my boys to take over and they will continue the Haney reign over the Pechaceks! And just imagine what the Miller boys are going to do to you also. If I were you I would just give up now. Good luck! 7/8/2008 12:58:00 PM

MyersFantasy Points
How is the Fantasy Fishing Scored?
6/30/2008 10:23:00 AM
Commish: For each of your 5 that is in the top 5, you get 3 point. However, if you pick the exact finish, you get 5 points and if you pick the winner eact, you get 10 points. For example, a picks of Mattis, Loewe, McCann, Larson, Haney yesterday would yield you 18 points. 10 for getting the winner right, 5 for picking Loewe to finish where he did and 3 for selecting Wes even though he didnt finish exactly where you picked him. You get 0 points for McCann and Larson cause they suck and didnt finish in the top 56/30/2008 11:17:00 AM
